Knowledge Skills and Feats

Knowledge Skills work differently than from regular Pathfinder.

Each player starts with 14 knowledge points. These points are separate from regular skills. All knowledge skills represent a value between 1-5. For each point invested in a knowledge skill, the value increases exponentially.

Level 1: Basic knowledge, gossip, secondhand information.
Level 2: Decent grasp of subject, common knowledge
Level 3: Studious knowledge of subject, has formal education; knows obscure stuff
Level 4: Scholar in that field; knows secret stuff,
Level 5: Dedicated life to learning that subject.; knows stuff long forgotten, unavailable lore

Knowledge Skills are not rolled for. The number is passive. Access to books and other research venues can increase effective knowledge score but the player knows information equal to their level.

There are two types of Knowledge Categories, General and Shepherd. Only Shepherds may learn Shepherd knowledge skills.
